Why CyberConnect pricing is different
Built for cybersecurity work, without a per-transaction cut.
General freelancer websites are designed for broad categories and often add marketplace fees, commissions, or percentage deductions around each job. CyberConnect is focused only on authorized cybersecurity and IT security work, so requesters meet relevant experts faster and experts keep the directly agreed service amount.
No per-transaction platform cut
CyberConnect charges clear access fees. It does not deduct a commission from direct expert payments agreed between requester and expert.

The platform is purpose-built for security assessments, secure implementation, training, and incident-readiness work instead of mixing security projects with every freelance category.

Direct-payment responsibility
CyberConnect charges platform access fees, and escrow is optional after a proposal is locked. If both parties choose direct payment, the delivery amount is paid directly between requester and expert. If the requester does not have enough trust yet, escrow can be selected with the configured platform fee. CyberConnect can review disputes, preserve audit history, and restrict abusive accounts, but it does not process, verify, reverse, refund, or guarantee direct payments.
Escrow payout policy for experts
When requester and expert agree to use escrow, payout is handled through the admin-reviewed milestone flow. Experts must save payout details on the dashboard before admin can process any escrow payout.
1. Release approval
After the expert completes the milestone, the requester approves release. The milestone then moves to admin payout review.
2. Bank verification
Admin sends a small verification transfer equal to 1% of the expert payout amount and emails the expert a secure confirmation link.
3. Expert confirmation
The expert clicks the link only after the 1% amount is visible in the registered bank or payout account.
4. Remaining payout
After confirmation, admin can transfer the remaining 99% and record the final payout reference for audit history.
The 1% verification transfer is part of the agreed expert payout amount, not an extra platform commission. Banking settlement timelines may vary by bank, payout method, and holidays.
Refund and cancellation policy
Refund window
Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of payment. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days, subject to gateway and banking timelines.
Work request credits
A work request credit is consumed when a client posts a work request. If an open request is cancelled before an expert is locked, admin can restore the credit after review.
Expert subscriptions
Expert subscription refunds are reviewed only when requested within 7 days and marketplace access has not been substantially used.
Cancellation
Cancellation can be requested before work starts. Used credits, completed services, delivered consultations, and started assessments are not normally cancellable.
